The article starts with Stratford before 2012, moves through the Olympics and regeneration, and arrives at the Stratford renters see today.
But this isn't just history.
The interesting part is how regeneration changed the housing market itself: new apartment developments, transport infrastructure, purpose-built rental developments, student accommodation, retail, employment and the expansion around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Then we look at the present-day renter: who is actually choosing Stratford now, what kind of housing exists, what attracts people there and what compromises come with the location.
